In March, President Obama identified “the biggest threat to our nation’s balance sheet.” Not major banks on the brink of insolvency. Not paralyzed credit markets. Not a bailout tab in the trillions. The biggest threat, he warned,” by a wide margin,” is “the skyrocketing price of health care.”

Myca at Health 2.0

Myca is delighted to be a Platinum Sponsor of the Health 2.0 Conference in Boston April 22nd and 23rd.
See the full agenda here.

On day one, Myca and Hello Health take center stage when Dr. Jay Parkinson and Dr. Sean Khozin lead a Deep Dive session into one of the most eagerly anticipated new product releases ever at Health 2.0, the leading health innovations conference.

Our doctors will demonstrate Version 2 of the Hello Health Platform, which links patients with physicians and connects care providers with each other. Dr Khozin will also be speaking about the Hello Health platform at our Myca booth.

There has been a lot of talk about “clinical groupware” and “Facebook for Healthcare”, but the organizers of  Health 2.0 believe Version 2 of the Hello Health Platform to be first real example of taking the power of social networking and social media and applying it to the clinical setting. We think so too.

Come see the Deep Dive, visit our booth, and speak to any of the Myca team at Health 2.0 in the Boston Park Plaza. Let us show you how our new technology is transforming the health care experience.

DOC THIS WAY! TECH-SAVVY PATIENTS AND PROS WORK UP HEALTHCARE 2.0

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

THIS month, the West Village will get its own branch of a revolutionary new health clinic built for these recessionary times: Hello Health, an independently funded, privately run enterprise, which first opened nine months ago on the north side of Williamsburg. It has managed to do what the federal government has not yet — namely, provide fast, affordable, high-quality, easily accessible health care to the uninsured.
