It's pretty interesting to think about the relationship between health and labor. People may (should?) value their health more in recessions. At the least, there seems to be a clear observed correlation between recessions and decreased mortality rates in the US.

In my mind, it's also interesting to think about the differences in developing countries. Trying to improve health through specific medical interventions versus thinking about what caused the health problems which often can be structural.

What are causing the problems in our country? Hello Health seems to be part of the answer, improving not only access but how we relate to and communicate with our health care.
