I recently learned about an online medical practice that uses the Internet to connect with and take care of patients. I was intrigued by what I heard, so I researched the site further and found it to be a very interesting concept.
Through the site, patients use the Internet as a primary means of communication with their healthcare provider. They create an account where their healthcare information will be stored and then have access to multiple physicians at a click of the mouse.

Holland-Mark gets assignment from Myca Health

Boston ad agency Holland-Mark said it has been hired by Myca Health of Canada to launch its primary-care practice model in the United States.
The model is called “Hello Health,” and Holland-Mark described it as a “customizable Web-based platform that simplifies and streamlines the engagement between health care providers and patients.”

Patients in Brooklyn, N.Y., who don’t have health insurance (and physicians who don’t want to deal with insurance claims) have the option of joining Hello Health. Connected Health Symposium 2009 Wrap-up

Google Health inks deals with two insurers, Hello Health

On the same day that its former leader launched his own online healthcare start-up, Google Health announced that it had inked deals with two more health insurers: Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and American Postal Workers Union Health Plan. That brings the count up to three insurers since Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA signed on last year.
