The 15 Wireless Health VC Deals Of 2009

According to MobiHealthNews’ year-end report, there were 15 venture capital investments announced during 2009 and 11 of them were for wireless remote patient monitoring start-ups. (Quebec) BlueCross BlueShield, one of the largest insurers in the United States with just over 100 million customers, released his checkbook and invest U.S. $ 5 million in Myca Health.

This small company of 39 employees of the Technology Park of Greater Quebec had made headlines in 2008 with its Health Project file without providing a medical consultation service by videoconference over the Internet.
